If one was to check the voting patterns since 18 year old's were given the vote, you only need to look at the candidates to see what's wrong with teenagers given the right to exercise that prized and most revered privilege.
That's not to say or condemn some who might actually know what's going on in the world, and more particularly, in this country. But let's face it, most can't think past party time and sowing their oats!

If they paid real taxes, including property taxes, owned a home or had to make mortgage payments, raise children, pay medical bills, or overall, support a family, then they might have an inkling about voting and for whom.
Let's face it, at that age, their brains for all intents and purposes are nothing but mush! They don't have a clue about life and are easily persuaded by political lies. At least real adults, some anyway, know the difference between fact and fiction!
It's time that Congress repeals the 18 year old vote, and put the fate of the Nation back in the hands of adults, not that we have done a better job, however, in most cases we have a slight advantage of being a little more mature!
As a rule, our minds aren't cluttered with non-seance and, we have more on our minds that what to have for dinner.
It's high time we do away with allowing teenagers to vote. Maybe then we can get some decent people in the White House!
